Back by popular demand! Spend Christmas at the beautiful Abbey Hotel in Great Malvern, with plenty of fun and festive activities for all.

DAY 1 We head to the lovely, ivy-clad Abbey Hotel in the ancient spa town of Great Malvern, and enjoy an evening cocktail reception before this evening’s dinner. This lovely hotel, set at the foot of the Malvern Hills, offers a warm welcome and relaxing atmosphere along with spectacular views over the Vale of Evesham. During the evening you have the option of joining in with games with one of the hotel’s excellent hosts.
CHRISTMAS EVE After breakfast this morning, we head to the riverside town of Tewkesbury. You may wish to visit the 900 year old Abbey with its fine Norman tower, ornate 12th century ceiling and beautiful stained glass windows. During your visit you could also indulge in some retail therapy in the town’s great mix of High Street shops and independent retailers, or perhaps head to one of the town’s museums, cafés or tea rooms. We head back to the hotel a for a buffet lunch, with time to relax and explore the local area this afternoon, and maybe enjoy games with one the hosts. This evening, we enjoy a three course dinner, accompanied by a local harpist. For those attending the midnight service at Malvern Priory, a short walk from the hotel, cheese and port await your return.
CHRISTMAS DAY Merry Christmas! Start the day with a champagne breakfast, and a visit from Father Christmas himself. You will then have time to relax and open your presents and perhaps take the opportunity to return to Malvern Priory for the Christmas Day service and carols. We then sit down for a three course traditional Christmas lunch. Later in the afternoon, you can watch the King’s speech and have some Christmas cake, and perhaps take part in the festive quiz with the hotel’s quiz master. This evening, enjoy a cold fork buffet dinner before settling down to watch a film.
BOXING DAY This morning we venture out for a scenic Boxing Day drive through the Malvern Hills, before heading back to the hotel for a buffet lunch. In the afternoon there will be a game of bingo to keep everyone entertained and during the evening, live music and dancing to enjoy after our evening meal.
DAY 5 After this morning’s full English buffet breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to our hosts and head for home.
