DAY 1  We head to Dover this morning, where we board the ferry for the crossing to Calais. We then continue our journey to our overnight hotel, with time to settle in before this evening’s dinner.

DAY 2  This morning we continue our journey to Düsseldorf, with comfort stops en route, where we will board our ship in the afternoon. On board, you can delight in gourmet dining at the main restaurant, “Riverside”, or relaxed dining in the Bistro, enjoy musical entertainment each night and enjoy the passing scenery from the panoramic lounge or sun deck. Indulge in the spa’s steam room or sun deck, or if you’re feeling energetic, explore with rental bikes!

DAY 3  Today we arrive in Koblenz, a scenic city which has a rich history of more than 2000 years, located at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. Enjoy a walking city tour and find out more about its well-preserved old town, and its role as a gateway to the surrounding picturesque landscapes and historical sites, before setting sail again this afternoon.

DAY 4  Traben-Trarbach and Bernkastel are renowned for well-preserved medieval architecture and verdant vineyards. During a day at leisure here, visitors can explore historic wine cellars, stroll along the picturesque riverbanks, and immerse themselves in the relaxed ambiance of its vibrant town centre.

DAY 5  After cruising overnight, we arrive in Trier, Germany’s oldest city. Enjoy a walking tour of the city, which is a treasure trove of Roman history, with UNESCO-listed ruins like the Porta Nigra and the vast Imperial Baths.

DAY 6  Today, immerse yourself in the medieval charm of Cochem Castle, perched majestically above the Moselle, and then meander through the town’s picturesque streets, where history and beauty intertwine at every step. Tucked away in the valley, Treis-Karden offers medieval charm and scenic tranquility, crowned by the majestic 12th century medieval fortress Burg Treis – enjoy a guided walk through the Abbey District during your visit.

DAY 7  We spend the morning at leisure in Rudesheim, famed for its vineyards, historic Drosselgasse, and scenic river views, before setting off after lunch for Königswinter, sailing through the famous Lorelei Passage, the narrowest part of the river between Switzerland and the North Sea.

DAY 8  We spend this morning in Königswinter which enchants with riverside charm, scenic vineyards, and the legendary Drachenfels Castle towering above, before departing at lunchtime for our journey back to Düsseldorf.

DAY 9  We have time this morning to cap off this memorable cruise in Düsseldorf. Renowned for its avant-garde architecture, a flourishing art scene, and a historic Old Town, Düsseldorf offers a captivating fusion of the old and the new which you can explore during your walking tour. We then continue on to our overnight hotel stop.

DAY 10 We head for Calais today where we board the ferry before continuing back home.
