DAY I We set off towards Norwich, stopping on the way in the stunning city of Cambridge. Here you can spend time walking round this beautiful university city – maybe visit the Fitzwilliam Museum, discover the Botanic Garden, or admire the famous architecture.You could also visit the Christmas market for some last minute gift purchases.We then complete our journey to our hotel with time to settle in before dinner.

DAY 2 After a morning at leisure in the hotel, we will have an early lunch before heading into Norwich, the most complete medieval city in the UK. Here you can visit the stunning Norman cathedral and castle, browse the independent and High Street shops or perhaps visit the quaint covered market. From here, we head off to the evening performance of the Christmas Spectacular. On arrival at Thursford, there will be time to browse for festive gifts before taking your seat for an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour and variety. This celebration of the festive season is set in the magical surroundings of mechanical organs and fairground carousels, with a cast of 120 professional singers, dancers and musicians – most of whom are straight out of the West End.The three hour performance features choirs, dancers, ballet, jive, jazz, carols, juggling, pipers, comedians, singalongs, organists and musicians It’s a fast moving celebration of the festive season featuring an eclectic mix of both seasonal and year-round favourites, with famous and much-loved chart toppers being performed alongside traditional carols.

DAY 3 We leave our hotel and begin our homeward journey after breakfast, stopping en route in Oxford, where there are museums, galleries, shops and beautiful architecture to enjoy in this famous university city.We then continue our homeward journey, arriving back home in the early evening.
