DAY 1 We set off towards Norwich, stopping on the way for coffee and lunch. We then complete our journey to our hotel, home for the next three nights.

DAY 2 After a morning at leisure in the hotel, we have an early lunch before heading into Norwich, the most complete medieval city in the UK. You may wish to visit the stunning Norman cathedral, browse the independent and High Street shops or perhaps visit the quaint covered market. From here, we head off to the evening performance of the Christmas Spectacular. On arrival at Thursford, there will be time to browse for festive gifts before taking your seat for an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour and variety. This celebration of the festive season is set in the magical surroundings of mechanical organs and fairground carousels, with a cast of 120 professional singers, dancers and musicians – most of whom are straight out of the West End. The three hour performance features choirs, dancers, ballet, jive, jazz, carols, juggling, pipers, comedians, singalongs, organists and musicians It’s a fast moving celebration of the festive season featuring an eclectic mix of both seasonal and year-round favourites, with famous and much-loved chart toppers being performed alongside traditional carols.

DAY 3 After a leisurely breakfast this morning we set off to the Oxburgh Estate. The imposing brick manor house is reflected in the tranquil moat, and inside the hall will be fully decorated for Christmas. During your visit you may wish to explore the formal gardens, or have lunch in the refurbished Servant’s Hall tea rooms. We head back to our hotel this afternoon with time to spend at leisure before this evening’s meal.

DAY 4 We leave our hotel and begin our homeward journey after breakfast, stopping en route in Windsor for a short visit and time to have lunch. We then continue our homeward journey, arriving back home in the early evening.
